Tip: This tutorial assumes that (a) your Joomla site is already configured for multiple languages and (b) Falang is already installed. Contact your webmaster if your site hasn't been prepped for multiple languages.
Step 1 - Log in to your Joomla Administration area
Log in to your Joomla Administration area. You will usually find your Admin area by adding /administrator to your domain name - for example, www.yourdomain.com/administrator .

Step 2 - Go to Falang
In the main menu, go to Components > Falang.

Step 3 - Go to the Translation Area
Click on the large Translation icon.

Step 4 - Select Language and Content Elements
Select the language you will be translating to, and then select Contents from the Content Elements dropdown.

Step 5 - Select an Article to Translate
A list of your Joomla articles will appear. Click an article's title to begin the translation.
Tip: A red dot in the State column indicates you haven't translated this particular article before.

Step 6 - Translate the Article's Title
Enter the translated title of your article.

Step 7 - Translate the Article's Contents
In the editor window, add your translated content just like you would a normal Joomla article, using the content editor.
Tip: Click Copy to duplicate the original content into the translation area. This is especially handy if you have images, a sidebar or other custom formatting in the original article.

Step 8 - Publish and Save the Translation
Finally, check the Published box and click Save & Close.
